**A Proposal at Sunset**

Beneath the sky’s golden hue,

As waves caress the shore so true,

I stand here, heart in trembling hands,

As evening paints the softest sands.

The sun, it sinks with tender grace,

A final kiss to night’s embrace,

And in this moment, here with you,

I ask a question, simple, true.

With every wave that rolls and falls,

With every breeze that softly calls,

I’ve known, my love, this truth so clear—

I want you with me, year by year.

So as the sun begins to rest,

And colors fill the sky’s great chest,

I drop to one knee, my heart aglow,

And ask you now, my love, to grow.

Will you marry me, and walk with me,

Through every dawn and endless sea?

As we chase sunsets, hand in hand,

And build a life upon this sand.
